Margaret “Peggy” Thomas, 84 of Temperance, MI, died Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Ebeid Hospice Residence.  Born July 2, 1932, in Buckhannon, WV, she was the daughter of Van and Elsie Lucile (Simpson) Poage.  Peggy was owner of Thyme & More Gift Store at the Schoolhouse Commons in Lambertville, MI for 30 years. She had served on the Monroe County Mental Health Board, was chair of the Bedford Township Bicentennial committee and enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening.

Peggy is survived by her loving children, Robi Thomas, Randy (Kelly Barnett) Thomas and Phillip (Kristine) Thomas; grandchildren, Lisa, Danielle, Trent, Adrienne, CeAnn and Makensi; great grandchildren, Dylan, Jonathan, Alexa, Sophia and Liam. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Ralph and Richard Thomas and 2 grandchildren, Jeff and Kelly.
